Loose Feeders

OKAY Loose Feeders are used to receive input materials from a mobile feeder or an upstream machine and act as a buffer to the downstream plant.

Built in modular sections, the feeder is made up of a conveyor at the base, which can be a chain conveyor (for heavy materials or loads) or a belt conveyor (for light materials or loads), and three solid walls with an open output at the front to discharge the material.  The three walls can be made to any size and can be different to one another.

The Loose Feeder runs at a slower speed than the downstream conveyor it feeds.  This has the effect of thinning the materials out as they go into the system.

The benefit of a Loose Feeder over a Box Feeder is cost.  The Loose Feeder is lower cost as it does not include a metering drum to control the material output.

The modular Loose Feeder is available in a range of widths and lengths, and it works with all waste and materials to help smooth our material flow and offer time back to mobile plant operators to work elsewhere.
