OKAY PCB Recycling Plants help conserve natural resources, such as copper and aluminum, which reduces dependence on extensive mining activities.  Our PCB plants also help to decrease waste production and prevent the release of harmful materials into the environment.

Our process involves shredding, sampling and separating various materials based on their specific physical properties.  There are a lot of high-value materials in a PCB such as copper, plastics, tin, gold and fibres and these are targeted for recycling.  However, it is the small size of the PCB, and the micro size of the components within it, that require detailed processing knowledge.  And, the fact that PCBs are only getting smaller means accurate handling is a must.

Recycling PCBs enables the reuse of valuable metals, resulting in a significant decrease in the environmental impact associated with manufacturing processes.

OKAY PCB plants can range over four types:

Simple: pre-sort, shred, magnet for FE recovery

Medium: as above with an optical sorter to recover the plastics and an Eddy current separator to recover the NFE

Complex: as above with batch storage units, reshredding, sampling, electrostatic separators to recover a wider range of metals, full material recovery, re-loading systems for onward transportation, higher volumes.
