Every year, more than 20 million pallets are manufactured and distributed for the UK construction industry alone, and they are also widely found in the retail and fast-moving consumer goods industries.

Wooden pallets are used by storage and distribution facilities, warehouses, logistics firms, manufacturers and others because they are cost-effective, can be reused many times and are strong enough to carry significant loads, all with a uniform interface for fork lift trucks.

However, pallets break over time and take up a lot of room.  Eventually, they need to be recycled.

OKAY Pallet Plants are an environmentally responsible and efficient means of processing pallets when they reach end-of-life.  Once shredded, the wooden pallets can be sorted for recycling, and clean Grade A pallet waste can be used for remanufacturing or animal bedding.
