Wood and Green Waste

OKAY Wood and Green Waste Processing Plants are configured to handle all grades and types of wood as well as green waste including solid logs and bark.

Whether the wood input is pallets, wood recovered from recycling plants, MDF for biomass, or garden waste, our plants are fronted by powerful primary shredders with options to add magnets, ECSs, mechanical screens and optical sorters downstream.

For green waste, our shredding systems make plant matter more compact, making it an effective way to deal with bulky branches, bushy twigs and other garden offcuts.  This massively reduces the volume of cuttings and makes them much more cost-efficient for collection.  Green waste, when processed, can then be put into windrows and composted and used for landscaping or fertiliser.

Shredding is extremely efficient and sustainable because it unlock valuable material resources that, as outputs, become mulch or compost.

We also offer batch processing for wood and green waste so operators can process both streams with the same equipment.  With stockpiling conveyors as easy add-ons, OKAY green and wood waste shredding systems are tailored to match the exact application.

Once the materials are shredded and processed, they can be stored for collection by the off-taker.
