Mechanical Mods

One of the hardest elements for waste operators to overcome, when considering a plant upgrade, is the fiddly mechanical mods needed to interface the new machine(s) with the existing plant.
Choosing a new screen or optical sorter is still a theoretical task, and even devising a new flow is fairly straightforward… on paper.
What makes an upgrade real on-the-ground inspection that the unit will fit.
This is made even more challenging when component machine suppliers will only sell a standard unit, which doesn’t line up with the gap, and, worst of all, the plant operator doesn’t even know yet the machine they have selected upfront won’t fit as things stand.
It is at this point OKAY can quickly pull together the engineering information needed to check these issues, devise a mechanical solution, ensure the new machine versions fit in a 3D model, double check the same applies in reality at site, check interfaces and flow clearances, build any new mechanical parts (conveyors, chutes, supports, transfer sheeting etc) to interface machines, pull all parties together as the design control hub and organise a programme to bring all the site works together.
OKAY relieves the stress of upgrades for plant operators by offering a one-stop service so the operator can relax knowing we have the project fully under control.
